Description

Klicks socks are technical and very soft merino wool socks with a slightly longer than normal sports cuff. The back of the cuff, on the outside, is knitted with the Uphill Klicks text.

The slightly longer than normal sports cuff is elastic and is long enough to cover, for example, the cuffs of thermal pants. The foot part is made of soft and thick terry knit, which is entirely a blend of merino wool and polypropylene. There is an inconspicuous toe seam on the top of the toes, which helps prevent chafing. The warmth rating of the socks is 4, meaning they are sufficient for use alone even in freezing weather.

Thick merino wool socks work well on their own, but if necessary, you can wear thin merino wool liner socks underneath for added warmth. Klicks socks are an excellent choice for outdoor activities in cold weather, such as hiking in nature or even for a walk.

The purpose of polypropylene is to wick moisture away from the skin, keeping your feet dry and warm. Merino wool, on the other hand, increases breathability and provides warmth. The antibacterial merino wool also keeps the socks fresher for longer and extends the time between washes, as it prevents odors from forming in the socks.

Klicks may be too thick for the tightest shoes, but for example, they are ideal for hiking boots, trekking shoes, and wellingtons.

Care instructions:

we recommend pre-washing merino wool socks before use
for marine socks, airing is often sufficient
careful washing at a maximum temperature of 40 degrees Celsius
use as light a spin as possible
the use of a wash bag saves wear and tear on the product
do not use detergents containing rinsing agents or bleaching agents
do not use a tumble dryer or drying programmes
please note that merino wool socks will shrink in the wash, please shape/stretch the socks while damp to restore the original size
use a lint remover - merino wool socks are easily linted by rubbing

Wool is a warm and breathable material. Sheep's wool has excellent performance characteristics, as it breathes and insulates heat well. Self-renewing and biodegradable, natural fibre absorbs moisture well, does not wrinkle and straightens quickly. For wool products, airing rather than washing is sometimes sufficient. Wool is inherently fire-retardant, highly resistant to bacteria and mould.
