Merino wool socks

Merino wool socks are knitted from yarn made from merino wool. The popularity of merino wool socks is not far-fetched when you consider the properties of merino wool. Merino wool is derived from merino wool sheep. The sock-makers' merino wool comes from Salto, a farm in La Magdalena, Uruguay. All the merino wool we use is mulesing free, plus it is NATIVA certified.

The wool of merino sheep is finer and softer than that of normal sheep. This makes merino wool more comfortable on the skin and does not tend to cause itching, as some other wools can.
