Description
Laajo boot socks are made entirely of soft, thick merino wool knit. The shaft is longer than normal, stays up well, and easily covers, for example, the leg opening of thermal pants. Two lighter stripes have been knitted into the shaft.
The socks have a thick merino wool terry sole that softens each step and protects feet well from the cold radiating from the ground even in winter. The calf-length shaft reaches high up, warming both ankles and shins. The shaft is also elastic and keeps the socks well in place.
The socks are at their best as traditional boot socks. However, you can also fit, for example, merino wool liner socks underneath if your feet need extra warmth in severe cold.
Merino wool is a breathable material, which helps keep feet dry and comfortable. The antibacterial properties of merino wool ensure that the socks do not start to smell during the day, even if your feet sweat a little from time to time. Polyamide has been added to the socks to increase their durability.
The recommended footwear for boot socks is high-top shoes, rubber boots, and hiking boots.
This product is also made at Sukkamestarit’s own factory in Ylöjärvi with 100% Finnish workmanship.
