Description

Merino wool resin socks with a non-tightening rolled cuff. The word 'Pihka' is knitted onto the toe area, on top of the toes.

The Pihka polyamide yarn used in the socks contains 10 percent resin. Pihka socks are not suitable for people allergic to resin. The looser than normal cuff prevents a tight feeling on the leg. Despite their thin structure, Levo socks are warm and also protect the ankles from the cold. The socks have an inconspicuous toe seam, which helps prevent chafing.

Resin socks are particularly suitable for those who want nurturing properties from their socks. Resin socks, for example, care for dry, cracked soles and are well suited for everyday use at work and during leisure time. They also make excellent bed socks. In wash tests, the socks have been shown to withstand at least 15 washes while releasing resin. The socks are well suited for feet suffering from swelling around the ankle.

The operating principle of the socks is based on the Pihka polyamide yarn used in them, which releases resin in a controlled manner onto the skin during use. The most important function of merino wool is to make the socks breathable and keep feet dry all day. Merino wool also has antibacterial properties, which help the socks remain odorless for a long time, even if the feet sweat occasionally.

The thin socks are excellently suited for almost all types of footwear.

Care instructions:

we recommend pre-washing merino wool socks before use
for marine socks, airing is often sufficient
careful washing at a maximum temperature of 40 degrees Celsius
use as light a spin as possible
the use of a wash bag saves wear and tear on the product
do not use detergents containing rinsing agents or bleaching agents
do not use a tumble dryer or drying programmes
please note that merino wool socks will shrink in the wash, please shape/stretch the socks while damp to restore the original size
use a lint remover - merino wool socks are easily linted by rubbing

Merino wool NATIVA™

Wool is a warm and breathable material. Sheep's wool has excellent performance characteristics, as it breathes and insulates heat well. Self-renewing and biodegradable, natural fibre absorbs moisture well, does not wrinkle and straightens quickly. For wool products, airing rather than washing is sometimes sufficient. Wool is inherently fire-retardant, highly resistant to bacteria and mould.
