Description

Ouna ski socks are knee-high and feature a soft wool sole and a compression shaft.

The shaft is thin and has light compression, ensuring the socks fit even tightly into ski or cross-country boots. The 4-layer structure in the footbed makes the socks highly durable and warm. The shaped heel and light arch support further improve the fit of the socks. Ouna socks have a warmth rating of 5, making them the warmest available. They do not require liner socks, but will keep your feet warm even in the coldest weather on their own.

The socks are specifically designed for skiing and cross-country skiing, but they can be used for all kinds of winter sports where special protection against snow and cold is needed for the entire length of the foot.

Merino wool brings warmth and breathability to the socks, which helps prevent foot sweating. The innermost layer of the socks' 4-layer structure is polypropylene, whose main function is to wick moisture away from the skin if your feet do sweat at times. The antibacterial merino wool also effectively prevents unwanted odors from forming in the socks, extending the interval between washes and thus their lifespan.

In addition to ski boots, the socks also work well with, for example, boots and winter shoes.

This product is also made at Sukkamestarit’s own factory in Ylöjärvi with 100% Finnish workmanship.

we recommend pre-washing merino wool socks before use
for marine socks, airing is often sufficient
careful washing at a maximum temperature of 40 degrees Celsius
use as light a spin as possible
the use of a wash bag saves wear and tear on the product
do not use detergents containing rinsing agents or bleaching agents
do not use a tumble dryer or drying programmes
please note that merino wool socks will shrink in the wash, please shape/stretch the socks while damp to restore the original size
use a lint remover - merino wool socks are easily linted by rubbing
