Description

Valta socks are knee-high skiing and snowboarding socks made of merino wool.

UphillSport Valta is a knee-high skiing and snowboarding sock made of merino wool, with a soft, thicker sole and front of the shin. A light tightening at the instep and ankle keeps the sock securely in place. Thanks to the 4-layer structure, the best properties of the materials used in the sock have been effectively utilized. The entire shaft of the sock contains strong elastane, which helps the socks stay in place better and evens out pressure. The inconspicuous toe seam prevents the formation of blisters.

Excellent socks for skiing and snowboarding, but they also work well for other winter sports such as snowshoeing or hiking.

Merino wool and polypropylene together efficiently transfer moisture from the skin, keeping feet dry and comfortable. Merino wool enhances the breathability of the socks and brings warmth. Due to their antibacterial properties, merino wool socks also do not start to smell easily, even if your feet sweat a little during use. This effectively extends the washing interval and the lifespan of the socks.

This product is also made in Sukkamestarit’s own factory in Ylöjärvi with 100% Finnish labor.

Care instructions:

we recommend pre-washing merino wool socks before use
for marine socks, airing is often sufficient
careful washing at a maximum temperature of 40 degrees Celsius
use as light a spin as possible
the use of a wash bag saves wear and tear on the product
do not use detergents containing rinsing agents or bleaching agents
do not use a tumble dryer or drying programmes
please note that merino wool socks will shrink in the wash, please shape/stretch the socks while damp to restore the original size
use a lint remover - merino wool socks are easily linted by rubbing

Merino wool NATIVA™

Wool is a warm and breathable material. Sheep's wool has excellent performance characteristics, as it breathes and insulates heat well. Self-renewing and biodegradable, natural fibre absorbs moisture well, does not wrinkle and straightens quickly. For wool products, airing rather than washing is sometimes sufficient. Wool is inherently fire-retardant, highly resistant to bacteria and mould.
