Description

Merino wool 4-layer socks for year-round use. The sock has been developed for the hunting grounds of the Rovajärvi area and according to the rugged requirements of that region. The text Uphill Rova is knitted behind the cuff.

The all-merino wool Rova socks feature a 4-layer structure, which makes the most of the materials used in the socks. The foot section is entirely merino wool. Light compression at the arch and above the ankle improves the fit of the socks. The warmth rating of the socks is 5, making them some of our warmest socks. There is an inconspicuous toe seam over the toes, which helps prevent chafing.

The socks are specifically designed to meet the demands of fishing and hunting, but they are also well suited for other outdoor activities year-round.

Merino wool and polypropylene together effectively wick moisture away from the skin, keeping feet dry and comfortable. Merino wool enhances the breathability of the socks and provides warmth. Thanks to their antibacterial properties, merino wool socks do not easily start to smell, even if your feet sweat a bit during use. This extends the washing interval and the effective lifespan of the socks.

Rova is well suited for rubber boots, field boots, and membrane boots.

This product is also manufactured at Sukkamestari's own factory in Ylöjärvi, with 100% Finnish craftsmanship.

Care instructions:

we recommend pre-washing merino wool socks before use
for marine socks, airing is often sufficient
careful washing at a maximum temperature of 40 degrees Celsius
use as light a spin as possible
the use of a wash bag saves wear and tear on the product
do not use detergents containing rinsing agents or bleaching agents
do not use a tumble dryer or drying programmes
please note that merino wool socks will shrink in the wash, please shape/stretch the socks while damp to restore the original size
use a lint remover - merino wool socks are easily linted by rubbing

Merino wool NATIVA™

Wool is a warm and breathable material. Sheep's wool has excellent performance characteristics, as it breathes and insulates heat well. Self-renewing and biodegradable, natural fibre absorbs moisture well, does not wrinkle and straightens quickly. For wool products, airing rather than washing is sometimes sufficient. Wool is inherently fire-retardant, highly resistant to bacteria and mould.
