Description

Merino wool resin socks with a non-tightening shaft. The word Pihka is knitted on the toe, over the toes.

The Pihka polyamide yarn used in the socks contains 10 percent resin. Pihka socks are not suitable for people with resin allergies. The shaft is looser than normal to prevent a tight feeling on the foot. Despite their thin structure, Saares socks are very warm and also protect the ankles from the cold.

Resin socks are especially suitable for those who want nurturing properties from their socks. Resin socks, for example, care for dry, cracked soles and are well suited for everyday use at work and during leisure time. They are also excellent as bed socks. The socks are well suited for feet suffering from swelling around the ankle area. In wash tests, the socks have been found to withstand at least 15 washes while releasing resin.

The operating principle of the socks is based on the Pihka polyamide yarn used in the socks, which releases resin in a controlled manner onto the skin during use. The main function of merino wool is to bring breathability to the socks and keep feet dry all day. Merino wool also has antibacterial properties, which help the socks stay odorless for a long time, even if your feet sweat a little occasionally.

Thin socks are well suited for almost all footwear.

This product is also made at Sukkamestari's own factory in Ylöjärvi with 100% Finnish labor.

Care instructions:

we recommend pre-washing merino wool socks before use
for marine socks, airing is often sufficient
careful washing at a maximum temperature of 40 degrees Celsius
use as light a spin as possible
the use of a wash bag saves wear and tear on the product
do not use detergents containing rinsing agents or bleaching agents
do not use a tumble dryer or drying programmes
please note that merino wool socks will shrink in the wash, please shape/stretch the socks while damp to restore the original size
use a lint remover - merino wool socks are easily linted by rubbing

Merino wool NATIVA™

Wool is a warm and breathable material. Sheep's wool has excellent performance characteristics, as it breathes and insulates heat well. Self-renewing and biodegradable, natural fibre absorbs moisture well, does not wrinkle and straightens quickly. For wool products, airing rather than washing is sometimes sufficient. Wool is inherently fire-retardant, highly resistant to bacteria and mould.
