Description

Knee-high merino wool ski socks with a 4-layer structure and an invisible toe seam.

Tuntu ski socks feature a 4-layer structure that helps keep your feet warm and dry all day on the slopes. The invisible toe seam prevents chafing and blisters, increasing comfort. The front part of the sock shaft is knitted slightly thicker, creating a pleasant cushion for the shin area.

The socks are specifically designed to meet the needs of skiers, but they are also excellent for other snow/winter sports when extra warmth is needed for the shins and calves in addition to the feet. The long shafts are flexible yet firm and fit perfectly into ski boots.

This product is also made in Sukkamestarit’s own factory in Ylöjärvi with 100% Finnish workmanship.

Care instructions:

we recommend pre-washing merino wool socks before use
for marine socks, airing is often sufficient
careful washing at a maximum temperature of 40 degrees Celsius
use as light a spin as possible
the use of a wash bag saves wear and tear on the product
do not use detergents containing rinsing agents or bleaching agents
do not use a tumble dryer or drying programmes
please note that merino wool socks will shrink in the wash, please shape/stretch the socks while damp to restore the original size
use a lint remover - merino wool socks are easily linted by rubbing

Merino wool NATIVA™

Wool is a warm and breathable material. Sheep's wool has excellent performance characteristics, as it breathes and insulates heat well. Self-renewing and biodegradable, natural fibre absorbs moisture well, does not wrinkle and straightens quickly. For wool products, airing rather than washing is sometimes sufficient. Wool is inherently fire-retardant, highly resistant to bacteria and mould.
